Had an awesome experience renting xc skis! They were very accommodating and I felt like it was reasonably priced. The equipment wasn’t the highest quality but for rentals it was great.

Where do I begin, from the moment we walked in the front door to the moment we left, Michelle and her staff were absolutely amazing and friendly. She showed us so much while snow shoeing through the forest. Got to learn so much about the history of the area. Towards the end she took us to a magnificent viewing area where photos could never do it justice. We stood around taking in the beauty while have cookies and hot chocolate that Michelle had prepared for us. If I could rate 10 stars I would. Keep up the great work Michelle and thankyou for showing us Aussies your backyard.

We had an amazing snowshoeing experience with Kananaskis Outfitters while visiting Alberta from Australia. The scenery was absolutely stunning and the whole experience was very well organised. Our guide Michelle was fantastic — knowledgeable, friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable regardless of experience level. She shared interesting information about the area and kept the pace enjoyable and relaxed. The hot chocolate at the end was a lovely touch, especially after being out in the snow — such a thoughtful detail that really added to the experience. Rented a couple of Fat Bikes and went winter biking. The team there were excellent and ensured we had everything we needed to have an enjoyable 3 hours. Nice ride up to Troll Falls.

Michelle, our tour guide and owner was great! She took us on a private star gazing hike. She is very knowledgeable of local flora and fauna in addition to star gazing info! We loved the stop in the alpine meadow while chatting about both the science and folklore of the sky. The hot chocolate was a nice touch! Such a unique and fun experience!

Good quality bike allowing me to bike up all the hills and the bike was very well maintained We are camping at Mount Kidd and will continue to rent from them rather than driving to Canmore

WOW! What an experience! I was a bit hesitant at first, as I hadn’t been on a bike in years, but the E-bike made it effortless and so much fun for all skill levels. The ride was filled with stunning lookouts around every corner—truly breathtaking views. I’d go again in a heartbeat! Booking with Kananaskis Outfitters was a breeze, and they set us up for a fantastic morning adventure.

Had such an amazing experience on the Full Moon Tour! Walking through the snow under the stars was absolutely beautiful, and the whole vibe was so peaceful. It was the perfect way to slow down, take in the mountains, and just enjoy the moment. Highly recommend!

Autumn our guide was great. Very friendly and enthusiastic. It was great to go on a hike off the main trails and through the forest. She took us to interesting spots we never would have found by ourselves. We were provided with head torches and crampons if we needed them. She even provided us with hot chocolate and biscuits as we looked at the stars! Thank you Autumn. I would also like to mention Amy from outfitters who was also super helpful and knowledgeable when we rented fat bikes a few days before.

My wife and I had an excellent experience for her birthday with Claude and Stacey at Kananaskis Outfitters. Great conditions and ideal temperatures. Even though the stargazing conditions were somewhat at risk, they turned out great! The conversations was amazing for all of the group and Claude and Stacey’s knowledge and explanations were top notch. I will be recommending to friends, family and clients.

I love this place. A favourite stop when I’m in K Country! The staff here are truly exceptional. On a recent trip, we popped in for guidance on trails nearby and a super lovely person (Amy, if I recall?) went above and beyond to give us a really lay of the land. (And we weren’t buying anything!) She just did it to help us have a great day. The time before when I stopped this summer, a fellow working there was exactly the same when interacting with guests looking for area info; then, he helped me find a perfect hat for my huge head haha. A few years back, my partner and I did the frozen waterfall fat bike tour out of KO, and it was a ton of fun, too – bikes were solid, guide was fabulous. Kudos to this little place for creating such great experiences for visitors!
