My wife gifted me a Stargazing Tour (Snowshoeing) and was treated to a spectacular trek amongst the trees with some of the best night sky moments I can remember! The guide was friendly and well prepared, the conditions were amazing (no clouds, no wind) despite it being a bit colder than we normally target for snowshoeing (it was -16C but never felt too chilly as we were well prepared!). Highly recommended!

We booked snowshoeing for a team build and Gemma was our guide. She was so knowledgeable and entertaining for the whole tour. We truly had an amazing team build that was full of laughter and a great adventure. We left more knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife around. I would highly suggest booking through Kananaskis Outfitters and will 100% book with them again. Make sure you request Gemma, she was truly the best.

Gemma took us on a beautiful, beginner level snowshoe tour with 2 lookout spots and gorgeous mountains in the backdrop of our photos. She was an engaging, hilarious and very hospitable host. Our team thoroughly enjoyed our snowshoe tour with her.

I loved the snowshoeing experience at Kananaskis Outfitters. We went as a group with kids, and they had a great time as well. The tour started on time, and our guide led us through a scenic loop while sharing interesting facts about the local nature and a bit of the area’s history.
Along the way, we had time to stop, take photos, and really enjoy walking through deep snow. The hot chocolate and cookies were a lovely touch and much appreciated, especially by the kids.
Overall, it was a fun, well-organized experience, and I would highly recommend Kananaskis Outfitters to families and groups looking for an enjoyable winter activity.

We had an amazing snowshoeing experience with Kananaskis Outfitters while visiting Alberta from Australia. The scenery was absolutely stunning and the whole experience was very well organised.
Our guide Michelle was fantastic — knowledgeable, friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable regardless of experience level. She shared interesting information about the area and kept the pace enjoyable and relaxed.
The hot chocolate at the end was a lovely touch, especially after being out in the snow — such a thoughtful detail that really added to the experience.

Rented a couple of Fat Bikes and went winter biking. The team there were excellent and ensured we had everything we needed to have an enjoyable 3 hours. Nice ride up to Troll Falls.

Michelle, our tour guide and owner was great! She took us on a private star gazing hike. She is very knowledgeable of local flora and fauna in addition to star gazing info! We loved the stop in the alpine meadow while chatting about both the science and folklore of the sky. The hot chocolate was a nice touch! Such a unique and fun experience!

I rented a mountain bike. Gemma and Michelle were so extremely helpful and patient. Both provided excellent customer service. Of course the biking was amazing. Good quality bike allowing me to bike up all the hills and the bike was very well maintained We are camping at Mount Kidd and will continue to rent from them rather than driving to Canmore

I was a bit hesitant at first, as I hadn’t been on a bike in years, but the E-bike made it effortless and so much fun for all skill levels. The ride was filled with stunning lookouts around every corner—truly breathtaking views. I’d go again in a heartbeat!

Had such an amazing experience on the Full Moon Tour! Walking through the snow under the stars was absolutely beautiful, and the whole vibe was so peaceful. It was the perfect way to slow down, take in the mountains, and just enjoy the moment. Highly recommend!

Autumn our guide was great. Very friendly and enthusiastic. It was great to go on a hike off the main trails and through the forest. She took us to interesting spots we never would have found by ourselves. We were provided with head torches and crampons if we needed them. She even provided us with hot chocolate and biscuits as we looked at the stars! Thank you Autumn. I would also like to mention Amy from outfitters who was also super helpful and knowledgeable when we rented fat bikes a few days before.

We rented bikes, which were very good—high quality, clean, with excellent battery life and a smooth ride. However, the place was super busy and not very organized. All the staff were running around, making it hard to find help, likely due to the long weekend. My main concern is that after we returned the bikes, they checked everything outside and said all was good, but they kept my credit card details and mentioned needing to check more bikes. I’m not sure how they handle removing my credit card number, which is a bit concerning because we don’t know if there’s anything else wrong with the bikes, and we could be held responsible. Please share if any of you have heard similar stories.

Even though the stargazing conditions were somewhat at risk, they turned out great! The conversations was amazing for all of the group and Claude and Stacey’s knowledge and explanations were top notch. I will be recommending to friends, family and clients.
