Interpretive Hikes
Learn about the creation of the Canadian Rockies most eastern ranges and the history of the Kananaskis valley. You never know what we may find along the way. Will it be wildlife or their tracks? We’ll go on to discuss how different species co-exist in mountain ecosystems.
Half day (2-3 hr)

Mountain Biking
Kananaskis has some of the best mountain biking in the Rockies. We’ll start off with a skills clinic to hone the group’s abilities, then we’ll head out on the trail and have even more fun!

Mountain bike and helmet may be rented. Please inform us if you will need equipment upon booking your lesson.
Voyageur Canoe
We are very excited to be offering a new authentically Canadian experience this summer; Voyageur Canoe tours. This boat is 25′ long and holds 9 adult guests. We start our tour with a short paddling lesson, emphasizing working together as a team. While we explore Barrier Lake your guide will recount the Voyageur days and the significance of these explorers to Western Canada. A two hour excursion costs $495 and $625 for a three+ hour excursion. This includes all necessary safety equipment, certified guide and bottled water.
No paddling experience is necessary. Please book in advance.
Flat Water Canoeing
Enjoy a day of paddling on one of Kananaskis’ crystal blue lakes. Let the peaceful surroundings melt away any stresses you may have. We’ll start off with a simple paddling lesson close to shore then embark on our journey. We’ll go on to discuss the history of the area and our majestic lakes. Why not make it a full day event with a lake side lunch.
